Case Study
They started by partnering with OnSite Energy to install a 36 kW solar electric system on their Overlook Field Campus, which will offset 100% of the facility’s annual electrical usage. They plan to finance this project with a combination of internal capital and utility grant funding.
Yellowstone Forever is already in the analysis stage of integrating an additional 100 kWs of solar energy projects into various facilities throughout the park. Access to third party financing via a partnership between Patagonia and Amicus Solar Capital could make all the difference in Yellowstone Forever’s ability to reach their 100% renewable energy offset goal, furthering their mission of protecting Yellowstone National Park for many generations to come.
