The Bridger Photonics facility has a large flat roof that was easily able to accommodate 50kW solar array, which is the maximum size for a net metered system permitted under Montana statue.
Case Study
This project required a little extra elbow grease from the crew. The roof is made of a flat rubber membrane covered by a layer of gravelz. In order for the ballast plates to sit flush on the rubber membrane, the crew had to remove the gravel from the roof, install the array, and then replace the gravel to evenly re-cover the rubber membrane. No one said that solar installation was for the feint of heart!
