Spring is here, the sun is shining, and we’re feeling energized and inspired. Last month, a few of our employees headed up to the State Capitol for Renewable Energy Business Day. They spoke with Senators and Representatives about the importance of solar for creating jobs and driving economic prosperity in Montana. We are always proud to represent and advocate for the solar industry.
Recently, Senate Bill 188 passed through the Senate. SB 188 establishes the legal framework for community solar projects. This would allow solar developers to build arrays and sell shares to subscribers, who would use the power produced to offset their monthly electric bill. Big shoutout to Blake Bjornson, our Commercial Solar Developer, for delivering a testimony on this bill to the Senate Committee. Track the progress of the bill here!
