Launched exactly one year ago today, our Solar for Conservation program allows OnSite Energy customers to donate 1% of their total project cost to a participating conservation organization of their choice. Over the past year, our participating organizations have included Gallatin Valley Land Trust, Greater Yellowstone Coalition, and the Montana Wildlife Federation. Today we are excited to announce that The Montana Wilderness School has joined the lineup!
The Montana Wilderness School leads teenagers on expeditionary wilderness courses that focus on environmental conservation and land stewardship. Their awesome schedule of expeditions includes mountaineering, rock climbing, canoeing, packrafting and fly fishing. There is also a scholarship program available for all of the expeditions- your support could help send a teenager on the trip that helps define the environmental conservation ethic they carry with them for the rest of their lives!
